About The Silent Disco Project
The Silent Disco Project is a family-owned social impact business in Northampton, you might know us from Boombastic Events, a well-established events company with over 20 years of experience.
As a husband and wife team, John & Katie Donaghue bring a personal touch to every event we undertake, and our passion for music and fun is evident in everything we do.
Our core values of inclusivity, community, social responsibility, and having a great time guide everything we do at The Silent Disco Project.
We are committed to delivering inclusive experiences that promote mental and emotional wellbeing, while also making a positive impact on our community.
What is a Silent Disco?
A Silent Disco is where participants listen to music through wireless headphones rather than traditional speakers.
This allows multiple channels of music to be played simultaneously, giving attendees the option to switch between DJs or music genres. The result is an immersive and customisable experience where everyone can dance to their preferred tunes.
This creates a fun and interactive experience that is perfect for parties community workshops, and team building sessions

A percentage of the proceeds from our private hires goes directly towards subsidising Silent Disco sessions for schools, community groups, and SEND provisions. By prioritising social impact alongside entertainment, we're able to create more opportunities for people to experience the joy of music and dance, regardless of their background or circumstances.
